Before I go into the tutorial, I should mention that this is a program still in development, so while base functionality is present there's some stuff I want to add to it to make it better, and while I've got a few ideas myself I'd be appreciative if anyone that used this and had some feelings about it would let me know what they want to see or what they find inconvenient about it.
Anyways, the program is split into two: Generate and Access. In Generate you create a master file somewhere in your file system that holds the category names; use the Add Term button to give the program the category names and submit it once you're done. Most of the program is pretty self-explanatory, but that is coming from the person who made it, so maybe not.
When that is done, or if you go straight to Access, you'll be in a new window that displays all of the files held with your master file. If you go straight to Access, you need to find your master file in your file system so that the program can pull the rest of the files and display them. Once you're in, you've got a row of buttons that let you Add new items for each category, Edit pre-existing files, Remove an item, Sort by a specific category, Search for a term in the active category, Switch to a different master file, and move pages as necessary.
This program was quite a bit of work and a lot of figuring out how things work for the first time, but the brunt of the work is done; now I want to refine it and update it from time to time based on what I feel the program needs to be better and what anyone who wants to voice their opinion says needs fixing/changing/adding to it. Hopefully if you like it you can find some use for it, or at the least find it to be an interesting novelty and move on.
Have a lovely day, and see you whenever I have something else to post again.
Note: Under the Coding tab there's a new listing for Development; Coding projects, like this one, that are subject to updates are gonna be tossed in there so as not to flood the page with an update every time I change something about it. Probably I'll put out a twitter update if it seems anyone's interested in hearing about the changes, and I'll try out keeping all the versions available to look back on along development.
