Hope you enjoy whatever progress I've made, and have yourself a lovely day! See you Wednesday for something else. Gonna keep doing these posts in batches of six, methinks.
I've heard that drawing from reference might be a better way of learning to draw than trying to make stuff up in the old headcase and trying to put it on paper, so a nifty tool I found called Sketch Daily came in use to furthering my efforts to learn how to draw. Most of the 'art' in this post is random drawings of the people posing in the images provided by Sketch Daily, drawn to varying levels of success in the five minutes I was given to draw them. Hope you enjoy whatever progress I've made, and have yourself a lovely day! See you Wednesday for something else. Gonna keep doing these posts in batches of six, methinks.
Quick little update on my progress drawing; slowed down a bit in practicing, but haven't had a lot of time for things lately, so hopefully I'll pick it up some more soon and get better, perhaps. Anyways, if you're interested in seeing minor progress in skill, here you go! Otherwise, this is a record to look back on, and a little something for me to do when I spent a lot of time doing coding that I couldn't post. Enjoy if you're able to, and otherwise have a lovely day. Y'know Batman? Scary guy, wears all black and grey, has no affiliation with playboy-philanthropist Bruce Wayne? This is a little woodburning of a symbol often affiliated with him given his alias as the 'Batman', known as the Bat-Symbol. Fun fact I learned recently; back in the Adam West days of Batman productions, most of the set items had placards placed on them that gave them fascinating names certain to either intrigue or humor you at how everything is given the 'Bat' prefix.
This little disc was originally going to be a double-sided one, one side Batman the other one Superman due to that one movie that came out recently as of this posting, but for reasons (It was two in the morning) I chose to honor the guy who won the fight (Kind of) and make this for the Dark Night. The discs I have have a little thingy in the middle that kind of mars the design a bit, but for carrying the design it was a good size. Anyways, hope you enjoy this! Might do the Man of Steel logo at some point in the future, might not woodburn again for ages, might do something else! Who knows! I don't. Have yourselves a lovely day and see you tomorrow at eight AM for more! It's that day where people get the chocolate and the family-times because of some old myths or something that not very many people really care about anymore! I know it has to do with someone dying or something, but that's most of our myths if you think about it, so that's not saying much. I think a lot of the old religious holidays, many of which were stolen from other religions in the first place, have really boiled down to themed opportunities for families to munch food together and enjoy some time off from other stuff, so to everyone I say: Happy Easter, or a holiday enjoyed by enough other people that you still get some time off. Enjoy!
First one in a little while, a quick little scene I made up after a bit of thought after waking up. As a bit of interest, I touched it up after taking the first pictures of it, so you can see a comparison of the before and after of a second pass at making it look nice. The first version's in the read-more break, and the after is, as you can likely see, on your right.
Enjoy! Have yourself a nice little while, and see you tomorrow at eight for more. In full disclosure, most all of my free time for the last... very long time has been put into playing a little game called Fallout 4, of which I have already made a little woodburning of for the Minutemen. Following suite, I made one for the Brotherhood of Steel, and it was not so good. I should return to that. Anyways, this one is for the Railroad, and while I'm not entirely happy with the design, the actual lantern symbol is present and burnt alright, so I'm rolling with it for now and will return to all of these symbols when I'm a bit better and not spending every waking hour of the weekend playing Fallout 4. I promise I'm more active during the week, I've just got a hankering to clear this game out before putting it down for a long while.
Anyways, hope you enjoy, if you have any comments or remarks on it, feel free to let me know! I'd quite enjoy knowing what the thought is about some of the stuff I've been making. Otherwise, have a lovely day, and I hope seeing this interests you in some way. Without further ado, some woodburnings. Enjoy! More tomorrow at eight AM as usual!
Ah, lovely woodburning. Honestly, don't have much else to say about this. I think the pen might be acting up and need some minor maintenance, but it could also just be the nature of the thing. Image is pretty self-explanatory, and the design started as just the window and then expanded to include the interior and exterior wood walling. Hope it interests you, enjoy! Yeah, it isn't a perfect circle. They're hard to draw, even when the grain of the wood isn't fighting you. Imagine it's part of the rustic esteem of an old cabin, where any glass at all was quite the mark of fancy. Or that I need to work on the old skills a bit. Whichever you like.
Still taking suggestions on how to do the backs of these things, need to sit down and flesh out a design sometime. First off; Happy Valentines Day! Hope you're happy with your person, or sufficiently dissociated with the holiday that you're not bothered by being alone. Either way, it's a nice, rosy day that all should enjoy with their relations, romantic or otherwise. In a sense of good timing, the day before is a certain anniversary for two individuals that may or may not be the reason for my existence, so I, surprisingly given the track record of prior years, did a thing.
