Poetry is tricky. You want to say something profound and do so in a way that is, in its composition, also profound. I try, though.
Featured
A poem written on a whim and submitted for a contest, it's the first poem I'd written with the intent of doing it well, and it seems to have been well-received so far.

A piece written about a number of social issues, such as war, racism, sexism, the environment, and isolationism with a finale that wraps it all up with a little bow of judgement.

A poem that most certainly uses metaphors within itself to describe a social matter of some importance without out-and-out being bald-faced about it and just telling you, because that'd be too easy.
