Anyways, this piece was surprisingly tricky to do for an unexpected reason. The wood I burnt is of two shades, the lighter and the darker, and my burning pen couldn't make a dent in the darker stuff. The jagged lines are from the pen dipping into the lighter shade without problem and then hitting a solid bit that sent it off course. However, through careful application and too much inhaled woodsmoke, I got that core design down without issue. It's two roads intersecting to be one, by the way.
