Snowy Pine by Mackinley Clevinger, February 21, 2016 Dubbed Snowy Pine, this piece is of a long pine tree standing beneath a falling snow, and I thought it looked quite nice. Simple, not overly complicated to make, but still appeasing to the eye. The cursive on the back needs some work, but I'm liking the idea of decorating the back with elements from the main image. I'm likely to do a larger snowy scene with many more trees. Twisting Vines by Mackinley Clevinger, February 21, 2016 This one was the bigger task I set before myself, but I'm not so sure I did it all that well. It was supposed to be a wire-planter with vines wrapped around it, ending in numerous blooming flowers, but it didn't really come together as I'd wanted it. Something to work on, for sure, though it did help me in cementing the new idea for the backs of these things. Cursive T isn't too great. I oughta practice those some more. |
Without further ado, some woodburnings. Enjoy! More tomorrow at eight AM as usual! Leave a Reply. |
