Hope you enjoy! The Abyss is a metaphor, by the way. Have a lovely day, and see you tomorrow at eight AM for more if you're the type to come back/check out other stuff on the website! Otherwise, chances are you won't read anything I write for at least a few more years if idolized plans manage to come to fruition, so have a nice life without me!
The Abyss by Mackinley Clevinger, May 23, 2016
In the dark we first mourn
And in the dark we see the light
In the light we see our form
And in our form we know our blight
In our world we can’t remain
Through this abyss we briefly fall
We live by a force we cannot tame
And harken to our ending call
From this abyss we depart alone
All falls end with nowhere to go
Few hearts shall travel cast in stone
To each our end but together life grows
